Most people I know use planners. I know that many of us make use of digital apps but there is really just something about writing things down, right? For years, I have been a loyal sticker collector of this popular coffee shop planner. I‘ve become so good at collecting stickers that I’m able to claim about 3 planners every year. That’s a lot of coffee, I know.  The funny thing is that I don’t really use my planners as planners. I use them more like journals where I write down my future plans. This year, I have not been so aggressive in collecting stickers. The reason? I found a new planner. One that does not require me to spend for and drink loads of specialty coffee. It’s the 2015 Daily Interact Certified Positive Planner. I just love this planner! Here are the reasons why: It has a daily Bible Verse Tracker! If reading the Bible daily is important to you, you would appreciate this novelRead more …

2014 Planners for the Busy Work-At-Home and/or Homeschooling Moms

I love planners. In fact, at the start of every year, I usually have two or more planners. I’ve been collecting the Starbucks planner for years, then I’d have a couple that I write reviews for and another that we receive as Christmas gifts. I do have a confession, though, I’ve never really found one that I’m able to stick to for the whole year. Sometimes, the planner is too bulky for me to bring around, or it just doesn’t have the space I need, or it doesn’t have the category I want such as prayer requests, Bible verses to memorize, etc. I’m still in search for the perfect planner, though, because I still need it. With the blog, the business, homeschool, church and life in general, there’s a need for me to keep our schedules and todo’s in order. I don’t know of any mom, especially the work-at-home or homeschooling mom, who doesn’t need a planner. If you’re still looking for the perfect planner,Read more …

Mom {24/7} – A 2012 Planner for Urban Moms by Mommy Mundo – A Review

Dec 28, 2011 | Posted by in Planner Reviews | 0

I like planners. I like to write things down on a nice notebook and keep our schedule organized. Although I’m not very consistent, after finding myself in such a disorganized mess, I will always go back to my planner and start trying to organize our lives again. In the last years, though, I haven’t found a planner that is just right for a busy, busy mom like me. I needed one where I can coordinate my schedule with my kids’ varying schedules. It has to be sturdy to last through the whole year, small enough to fit in my bag and it has to be beautiful enough to write on. Yeah, the kind of paper and design matters to me, too. This year, I think I’ve found one that’s just right. It’s not yet the perfect one for me, but enough to fit my needs. It’s the Mom {24/7} Planner published by Mommy Mundo. I appreciate the beautiful cover with it’s pink, lilac, purple and beigeRead more …

Homeschool Planner Review: The 2011-12 Schoolhouse Planner – Making A Plan for School and Home

An organization tool, therefore, is a necessity for the homeschool mom. Those generic planners that you find in your local bookstore won’t do for me. I needed something that I can customize. I needed a tool that had everything for me in one go. Homeschool Planner Review: The 2010 Schoolhouse Planner – Making a Plan for School and Home By The Old Schoolhouse Magazine

I have just received The 2010 Schoolhouse Planner (for free) for review today and I am so excited! I have to say this: It is HUGE!!! The creators of this over 600-pages planner, Heidi Strawser and Kris Price, have thought of all that we homeschool parents could possible want in a planner. This is not an ordinary planner, it is a major help in organizing not just your homeschool, but even your home, your garden, your diet, your life! The 2010 Schoolhouse Planner features monthly articles on homeschooling by popular homeschool names. The different authors they feature are already experts in their field of homeschooling which makes the articles a valuable part of this planner. The articles also feature useful links to other resources found online. Aside from that, there are monthly Resource Lists for items that are sold in The Schoolhouse Store. Personally, what I find really valuable is the Miscellaneous Educational Information, which is only a small part of this whole planner. FromRead more …

Homeschool Planner Review: The Well-Planned Day 2009 – 2010 by Rebecca Scarletta Keliher

I love planners! In fact, I have all kinds of planners. Most of the planners I have are in ebook format and are specifically for homeschoolers. I received The Well-Planned Day 2009 – 2010 Family Homeschool Planner Ebook from its publisher, Home Educating Family, for free for the opportunity to review it. This planner is specifically for mom’s use. It is filled with beautiful graphics and its monthly colors are pleasing to the eye. It is aesthetically pleasing and is inspiring to write on. Although I would prefer to use a printed planner, I did like that it is downloadable because I can print some of the pages as much as I want to. Consequently, I can also choose not to print some of the pages to save on paper and ink. The planner starts with instructions on how to use the weekly pages for 1,2 or 3 children. It provides space for 5 days a week of lesson planning. Saturdays and Sundays have aRead more …
