Here is another FREE resource that I have found online. Future Christian Homemakers is a class given by Ms. Laurie Latour to teach young ladies about cooking, baking, sewing and homemaking. Now, we mothers can have our own Future Christian Homemakers class for our daughters at home. Ms. Latour has graciously made available her homemaking lessons for FREE online. The book is organized into over 15 lessons and is very flexible to use. You may just pick and choose which lessons are applicable for you and your children. Devotionals are also included but are available on the website. The rest of the book are available as Adobe Acrobat Downloads.

I’ve downloaded and read through a few lessons and I am very excited to use this to teach my three girls. It’s such a blessing because I was just thinking about it this morning. I will be updating you on how we have used this resource in our homeschool this coming school year.

You will find the online book here.

Hello, for all students (at least high-school and the undergraduates) and others with an interest or enrolled in economics I have started a blog which will comprise study literature in a more entertaining form than standard textbooks, see
CrisisMaven’s Economics Study Guide. While still in its initial stages it will be added to constantly and covers general ecenomics subjects while at the same time dealing with current topics from the news that provide a welcome backdrop to an elucidating chapter in economics as well, e.g. Of Mortgage Brokers, ARMs, Attrition and Marathons .
